How can someone so good at relating to people be so bad at communicating with them?
Good news, guy! It turns out I CAN be house-broken. I made guacamole! And yes, I’m sitting under a table because it’s currently the only place bright enough in my house for my Schroeder shirt to be seen in a picture. :)
I’ve decided to try and become more friendly to all of you. So, from now on, I will be tagging any sensitive things that I might reblog, such as spiders or insects or anything you might find icky with certain tags so you can blacklist them or whatever it is you do to not see things with certain tags. Spiders will be tagged “spider,” insects will be tagged “insect,” and anything else that might potentially turn off some of you will be tagged “creepy crawly.”
I already tag my original posts fairly extensively, so there shouldn’t be any problem with those, but because I sometimes go on a kick of reblogging spiders for three or four days in a row and people don’t usually like spiders, I will do my best to tag my crawly reblogs as well.
If there are any other things you’d like me to tag accordingly, or if you would like my reblog tags to be more specific, let me know?
Fact 1: I get weird(er) when I’m up past 3 am on a weekday.
Fact 2: I have a pretty gnarly sunburn right now and you can definitely see it in these pictures.
Doing two (very extensive) projects on climate change this semester has made me feel like a real scientist.
Yikes! Down five followers in one day. Some people clearly do NOT like spiders. Or maybe they’d just had enough of my nonsense. Regardless, auf weidersehen to them and bienvenue to my new followers. As soon as this semester is over (just a couple more weeks!) I will once again begin to post environmental/biological posts regularly.
I hope you’ve all had a lovely evening and did something that made someone else smile today.
